Getting Started • Presets • Batch Processing
FlowBatch comes with factory presets for common batch processing tasks. These are pre-built workflows that you can use immediately: select a preset, set your input and output folders, and start processing.
Presets are pre-configured node-based workflows. Each preset defines a processing pipeline with nodes already connected and configured for a specific task. Instead of building a workflow from scratch, you load a preset and customize only the input/output paths.
All factory presets are available in both the free and licensed versions of FlowBatch.
FlowBatch includes four factory presets:
Converts iPhone HEIC photos to universally compatible JPG format
Input → Filter (HEIC only) → Convert to JPG (90% quality) → OutputYou have hundreds of iPhone photos that won't open on Windows or upload to websites. Run this preset to batch convert them all to JPG.
Export one image to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube formats simultaneously
Input ─┬→ Resize 1080×1920 (9:16) → Output _tiktok
├→ Resize 1080×1080 (1:1) → Output _instagram
└→ Resize 1920×1080 (16:9) → Output _youtubeYou're a content creator who posts the same images across multiple platforms. Instead of manually resizing for each platform, run this preset once and get all three formats.
Generate small, medium, and large image sizes for responsive web design
Input → Convert to WebP ─┬→ Resize 400px → Output _sm.webp
├→ Resize 800px → Output _md.webp
└→ Resize 1200px → Output _lg.webpYou're building a website and need responsive images. This preset generates the three sizes you need for HTML srcset attributes, in WebP format for smaller file sizes.
Create 640x360 thumbnails with optimized file size
Input (recursive) → Resize 640×360 → Convert to JPG (75%) → Output _thumb.jpgYou have a large image library and need preview thumbnails for a gallery, video hosting, or content management system. This preset creates small, fast-loading previews.
The preset panel is on the left side of the editor. Factory presets are listed under "Factory Presets".
Click on a preset to load it into the editor. The nodes and connections will appear on the canvas.
Click on the Input node and set the source folder where your images are located.
Click on the Output node(s) and set the destination folder where processed files should be saved.
Click the Start button. FlowBatch will process all files in your input folder according to the workflow.
Factory presets are starting points. After loading a preset, you can modify any node's settings:
In the free version, these customizations apply to the current session. In the licensed version, you can save modified workflows as custom presets for future use.
Note: The free version has no processing limits or watermarks. The main difference is that custom presets cannot be saved between sessions without a license.
FlowBatch presets let you start batch processing immediately:
Select a preset, set your folders, and click Start. All presets are available in the free version.
